“Mavromoustakos” can be daunting to the untrained tongue, which is why Nick’s friends started calling him “Mavro” for short. Originally from Brooklyn and now from Queens, his love of photography was spawned during his college days when digital cameras became a viable alternative to film. At the encouragement of his loving and beautiful wife, Margarita, he made photography a serious hobby that eventually developed into much more.
